Morning Glory Christian Fellowship

 

Our Mission is to help the people of  God to go as far in God as possible while we are here on earth.   Our desire  is that the people of God become empowered with the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ so they can become all that God wants them to be in his eternal purpose for their lives. 

 

Morning Glory Christian Fellowship was founded and established under auspices of Dr. Kevin M. Jolly through divine  inspiration in October, 2003.  It was at that time that Dr. Jolly established the by-laws and articles of incorporation for the ministry, obtaining corporate status.

 

Pastor Jolly operated the administrative duties of ministry from his home until the Lord blessed Morning Glory with our first place of worship in the auditoruim of the Broach School, 6211 Terry Road.  Everything needed for full operation of ministry was provided through God.  He blessed us with audio equipment, a beautiful fifteen-passenger vans, brass communion trays, wafers and cups, supplies, chairs, furniture/fixtures, musicians, accountants and ministerial staff.

Our first official service at the new facility was held Sunday,  January 1, 2006.  During the invitation to discipleship, eight (80) people joined this ministry.

Quite a bit happened in the first year;  the youth praise team was formed, the outreach ministry, women's ministry, singles ministry and marriage ministry was in full operation.  On May 1, 2007, we were on the move again. We moved in a beautiful three thousand square feet suite in Central Park Office Complex at 3728-22 Phillips Highway.  The men of Morning Glory built  a pulpit and sound booth.  Beautiful burgundy chairs and window treatments adorned the sanctuary.  New tables were donated for the multipurpose room.  Pastor's office was equipped with new furnishings.  More of Pastor's vision unfolded in our new location.  He established a bookstore and Prayer Room.  At this location we held a first health fair.  It was such an overwhelming success that Evangelist Jolly deemed it annual September event.  Friday night live was created as atmosphere for young hearts as well as to express their talent. 

 This year was a lot of firsts for Morning Glory.  As we continue to outreach, more sheep were added to the flock.  Pastor was told during our 2008 Anniversary, "this location is not it and God said don't get comfortable".  Well, nine months later, the Lord blessed in an awesome way.  And here we are.  God just keeps on blessing.  He has blessed us through His grace and mercy with a completely furnished one-thousand seat sanctuary , baptismal pool and kitchen.  We installed a new sound system in the sanctuary and new refrigerator for the kitchen.  Today we are at 300 members and growing.  Numerous Ministries are in full operation.

 The process continues as we exalt the Lord and operate in excellence.  Stay tuned as God continues to prosper Morning Glory and its members as we strive in 2011 to "Get Back to Eden ".  We say yes, yes Lord.  Amen
